Flow is an instant translation app that produces customized translations of the best possible quality. By leveraging a company's language resources – such as term banks, translation memories, and their custom NMT model – Flow guarantees verified results.

My role
I played a pivotal role in shaping the product's identity by crafting the product branding and visuals through a collaborative effort with both the marketing and product teams, ensuring a cohesive and impactful representation that resonates with our target audience.

💡 CONCEPT

In the context of Flow, the ultimate translation results from the integration of various customer "resources," such as term banks, machine translation, and translation memories. Flow visually represents these resources through layers, each shaping a part that collectively forms the structure of the final translation. The negative space signifies the area where customized models can absorb and accumulate additional data to continually enhance their quality.

Playing with the concept
Following collaboration with the product and marketing team to develop the concept, I began experimenting with shapes, particularly organic lines, to align with the fluidity concept. Additionally, I employed the golden ratio as a fundamental basis to establish the size and proportions of circles.

🎨 VISUAL IDENTITY

From the main concept, other items that componse visual identity were also considered. Consistency in visual identity is crucial for building brand recognition and establishing a strong, cohesive brand presence in the minds of the audience.

Choosing the right properties
In crafting the brand's visual identity, I utilized principles from color psychology to select hues that evoke sentiments of security, trust, and innovation. This deliberate color choice aims to establish a visually appealing and emotionally resonant brand image, aligning with the core values of the brand.
